Willy AKA Wellington wants to wish everyone Happy Holidays. This young boy is looking for a dog savvy home. We are guessing Willy’s breed to be Dachshund crossed with King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. He is just over a year old, weighs 15 lbs and now neutered. Willy can be fearful of new people, primarily men but once he learns he can trust you he warms up quickly. The best way to win Willy over is ignoring him and let him come to you. Willy can also be vocal when left alone so a detached home is best for him. We are insisting on NO young kids for Willy, however Willy is great with other dogs and appears curious but friendly of the cats in his foster home. Willy is a HIGH energy dog and needs lots of exercise to keep him behaving his best. This sweet boy was found by Animal Control running at large cold, hungry and scared. Being in the shelter was far too stressful for Willy so the shelter transferred him (after his stray-hold period passed) to Cross Our Paws RESCUE in North Vancouver. Willy is heading to a foster home on the Island for some much needed training and socializing with new people until a permanent home is found. Email us at crossourpaws@yahyoo.ca for details.
