ADOPTED! MOLLY is coming to us from the NWT. She is only 8 to 9 months old but has been through a lot in her short life. MOLLY needs an understanding owner as she suffers from separation anxiety and becomes anxious when left alone. She will require a family where someone works from home or is semi-retired just to help her get through this awkward stage in her life. She has lost her home twice now and is likely feeling very confused and unsettled…who can blame her? MOLLY is a wonderful dog that gets along well with other dogs and people. She is spayed and weighs about 50 lbs. We will be looking for an adult home for MOLLY so she can receive the one-on-one attention she needs to thrive. If you are interested in applying to meet MOLLY please download our adoption questionnaire here and email it back to us once complete to crossourpaws@yahoo.caMollyoffice

BISCUIT recently arrived from the NWT and will be looking for a new home after she is spayed mid May. She is a 40 lb., Husky cross about 6 months old. BISCUIT will need a dog savvy home that will be active with their dog. BISCUIT is not suitable to be in a home with children and will need an adult home. She is young and still learning how to live in a home. She is food motivated and trains well but needs to be reminded that her meals will come regularly so there is no need to scavenge for food. If you are interested in Biscuit or any other dog with Cross Our Paws Rescue please visit our website at for details and applicaiton.11096605_10206769984191913_6635567907044064456_oIMG_3675

FullSizeRenderUPDATE: Tucker has been placed in foster care and will remain in this home until further notice. Tucker is new to us so we are just getting to know him and what his needs are. Tucker was an owner surrender due to unfortunate circumstances. He is almost 3 years old and only weighs 3 to 4 lbs. He is a total snuggle bug BUT he also desires to be a DOG with 4 on the floor. He needs more confidence and has improved so much since joining us on Friday. We will not be placing Tuk in a home with kids.

Shirlee is starting to settle and will need a patient foster/home to help her overcome some the anxieties that go with having lived in a large, busy family. After living with 5 young kids she is not sure what to do with herself…LOL. We are looking for a quiet but active home for her (with no kids) and while she does well with most other dogs it would be nice for her to receive some one-on-one time so she can learn what is expected of her. Shirlee can be vocal if she hears sounds she can’t identify so we are not recommending she live in apts/condos.

For further details about this funny pooch visit her posting here. The video here is of Shirlee making a new friend at The Dog Patch Dog Daycare in Poco 😉
