Kiera was our first rescue with a VERY troubled past. It took us years to rehabilitate her. But over the course of time Kiera surprised us and became all she could be. She became our mentor dog and paved the way for many other rescues coming into our care. She was soooo loyal and amazing!

RIP Ricky....you will be remembered forever!
Ricky was rescued locally with another dog from an abusive home in North Vancouver in the summer of 2007. He was very fearful of his surroundings. Over time, Ricky blossomed into a wonderful canine companion. Ricky lost his life due to ingesting a small piece of fishing line at low tide on Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver where his new family walked him frequently. He was in his new home for months and his adoptive family was devastated by his loss as we all were. This is a reminder to always watch you dog while off-leash.
