Diesel was surrendered to the Delta Community Animal Shelter as his owner was unable to provide a secure environment where he received an appropriate amount of exercise and socialization.
He will need an dog experienced home that will be able to provide him with a structured routine and behavioural training. Diesel is wonderful with people but needs to be placed in a home without small animals. He does have a history of aggression toward small dogs and we thought he didn’t like all dogs BUT he now has a big dog friend at the shelter! So, we think he would do best with a well balanced or more submissive dog. An introduction at the shelter is the best way to ensure a friendship has been made and we will be happy to assist you. This smart, young dog has so much potential, we hope the right family is able to see past the “naughty puppy” behavior and give him the consistency and stability he so desperately needs!
